In collaboration with

Forest Nation

Deforestation in the Eastern and Western Usambara Mountain Ranges has severely affected local livelihoods. That’s why, together with Forest Nation, we have committed to reforesting these areas.

While tree planting undoubtedly benefits the environment in the face of climate change, its greatest impact lies in transforming communities and improving lives.

Empowering Communities
  • Closing the inequality gap by providing stable employment for 200 women year-round and seasonal opportunities for up to 800 women.
  • Supplying seedlings to families, enabling them to cultivate trees that, once mature, provide food and a sustainable source of income.
Transforming Lives
  • Planting fruit trees in school backyards through the Green Schools Program, equipping students with hands-on knowledge of horticulture and botany while enhancing their nutrition.
  • Cultivating 100 mature fruit-bearing trees generates $700 in income for Tanzanian farmers and produces 10 tons of oxygen annually.
Restoring the Environment
  • Absorbing approximately 2.5 tons of CO₂ per year for every 100 mature fruit-bearing trees—offsetting the carbon footprint of two passengers on a roundtrip flight from New York to Los Angeles.
  • Reforesting 10 hectares of land by planting 10,000 trees, rejuvenating ecosystems and biodiversity.
Sustaining Growth
  • Strengthening freshwater resources by planting trees along riverbanks, ensuring a stable water supply.
  • Growing tree varieties that produce fruit, medicinal ingredients, and essential oils to benefit both people and nature.
  • Fostering community bonds by engaging village volunteers in reforestation efforts, promoting collaboration, and environmental awareness.
Inspiring Change
  • Enhancing natural resources to help farmers achieve better crop yields and improve their livelihoods.
  • Boosting local tourism by revitalizing landscapes with lush greenery, making Tanzania a more attractive destination.
  • Encouraging environmental stewardship by educating communities on the long-term benefits of sustainable forestry and conservation efforts.
Maintaining Macroclimates
  • To ensure high survival rates, we cultivate each tree species within its native forest environment, maintaining consistency in macroclimate, soil, and ecosystem.
  • By integrating these reforestation initiatives with our eco-friendly skincare products, we aim to promote a holistic approach to sustainability that benefits both people and the planet.
